これはグランツーリスモで世界的な名声を手に入れている山内氏並びにポリフォニーの初期作品。見た目の通りゲーム性はマリオカート。さすがにGTを製作したチームだけあって完成度は高い。グラフィックはまるでPS2で補完処理したかのような滑らかな映像で、この時代にこれだけの技術があったのかと驚嘆する。挙動は若干リアル系だが、それでもゲーム的な方向に上手く調整されていてドリフトコントロールも奥深く楽しい。リアル系とゲーム的なレースゲームは相反する物だが、これは実に絶妙な調整でどちらのファンも満足するはず。しかし何故この素晴らしいソフトの知名度がこんなにも低いのか?残念でならない。ちなみにこのUSA版は2のバージョンアップなので当然こちらの方がよい。見つけたら買いだ!!

Original Air Date: December 21st, 2009 Motor Toon Grand Prix Staff Roll. Due to how the game is made, you can't rip the opening, congratulations, or credits from the CD (which is probably why no one has it), so I had to beat the Grand Prix. I used Captain Rock. The credits are the same regardless of character, though the congrats are a little different depending on the character. I currently have no plans to show all of the Congrat screens.
