発表時、ロッキングオンの新譜レビューで渋谷陽一が【エモーショナルな傑作だ】と評していた。

今考えるとなぜ氏がレビューを担当したのか不思議だけれど、その絶賛も十分うなずける。

当時同じように人気絶頂のエコーアンドザバニーメンのような線の細さと対局的な骨太、重量級のサウンド。

なんとなくツェッペリンのHouses Of The Hollyに似ているかも。

ただし骨太なサウンドではあるけれど、スティーブ・リリーホワイトがテープ編集しすぎて全体にモコモコした音になっているところも面白い。

彼がその後にプロデュースしたシンプルマインズのSparkle in the Rainと似た音になっている。聞くとアドレナリンが出てきそうな（本当に出てくる）力強いサウンドでもあるところも共通点。

今聞いても力が湧いてくる。
